Sharrond King

Sharrond King is back with her second release from her upcoming EP Going Forward. The new single is entitled, “My Life Is a Love Song”. It is the follow-up to her recently released single, “He Still Sees Me”, which was nominated for several awards and blessed many souls both nationally and internationally. “My Life Is a Love Song”, is energetic, inspirational, and multi-cultural, which will appeal to a diverse audience.

 

Sharrond’s prior work includes her 2006 album release Feelin’ Free, featuring the hit single “I’ll Go” and 2004 billboard charting album Dedicated.

Sharrond began singing solos in church at the age of three years old per her aunt Althuller. She started singing in her family quartet at the age of four. Believing that God has called her to minister through song and other forms of media, Sharrond uses her anointed voice to spread His message, through spirited lyrics and inspirational melodies. Sharrond has shared her ministry on stage opening for Shirley Caesar, Tye Tribbett and Kurt Karr & the Kurt Karr Singers. She is the recipient of the 2007 Ensound Best Inspirational Song Award, the 2007 Arkansas Gospel Heritage Gala Awards - Song of the Year and the 2007 Arkansas Gospel Heritage Gala Awards- Female Vocalist of the Year.  She has been featured in the ENDE Magazine, the Gospel EUR and the Gospel Truth Magazine.

Sharrond’s goal is to fulfill God’s purpose for her life by uplifting and enabling Souls, through multiple forms of media and outreach.
